TURNAROUND TIMES

 

 

Designing Period - 3 to 21 working days

 

This entirely depends on the nature of the design, for simple one piece order from our collection, the designing period can be as short as 3 working days. However for larger custom orders this can be much longer.

 

Printing - 10 to 18 working days

 

Once the design has been signed off printing can no take place. Our current turn around for this is fixed but we will give you a more specific dispatch date when the design has been finalised and we are ready to send to print.

 

Shipping - from 1 working days

 

For orders being shipped to the UK we use a Next Day before 12 service for all orders, shipping to other parts of the world usually take between 4 - 7 working days. However once the order is dispacted it is unfortunately out of our hands and can be held up by customs.

PRICING QUOTE

 

 

After discussing the different design options and finalising the details of the design you are after, I will request that you fill out an order form (if you haven’t already done one) to gather all the information for your order. From this I will calculate your final quote for the order including shipping. A final invoice will then be supplied, once you have checked and confirmed all these details we are ready to set up the payment.

 

 

 

PAYMENT

 

 

A custom listing will be set up via Etsy just for you, this will be linked to you for you to pay securely and safely. We offer the option of a 50% deposit for orders over £300.00. The first 50% is taken before any design work takes place and the second half is due before printing when all the design work has been completed and design has been signed off. For orders below £300.00 we request full payment before the design process begins.

 

 

 

INITIAL PROOFS

 

 

Once payment has been received we can get to the fun stuff - the designing! I aim to get initial proofs to you in 1-2 days from receipt of payment for Collection designs and 1 week for custom designs. However during busier periods this can be longer, so if you are in a rush please let me know and I will inform you of my current turnaround times. I don’t impose any limitations of the number of proofs (within reason) on my designs as I want to ensure you are completely thrilled with your design before we send it to print. Designs from our collection can be customised in many ways including the font, ink colours and envelopes and you aren’t limited to the set wording as displayed. Any significant changes to layout or design of our Collection designs will, however, incur a small design fee depending on the extra work needed. This will be discussed at the time of ordering.

 

 

 

FINAL PROOFS

 

 

The whole designing period from initial proof to sign off of design can take anywhere from 3-10 days for a Collection design and 1-4 weeks for a totally custom design. Once you are happy with the design please double check the wording, dates and addresses carefully as any errors noticed after the final proof has been approved will be unfixable and non-refundable so do make sure to double check carefully. It sometimes helps to have a few extra sets of eyes check it for you! Once you are happy with the proof, I will send a complete summary of your order, including the proofs, with details such as quantities, paper type, ink colours etc. This will also need to be confirmed before printing.

 

 

 

PRINTING

 

 

Once the design has been signed off officially we are ready to print!

 

Your design will now be made into plates for the press, each invite cut, checked and fed into the press by hand one by one and the design carefully pressed into the paper with ink using our 100 year old, cast iron beauty of a press. I check each invite for flaws, discarding any that aren't perfect (reusing them as pieces to test for other orders to reduce waste!). Once I have a set of perfectly printed pieces, I will carefully package them and then they are ready to ship.

 

 

 

SHIPPING

 

 

All orders are shipped using a tracked and insured service. Shipping prices vary per order so prices will be calculated exactly when we know exactly what your order will contain. All UK orders are priced at a flat rate of £15.00 for a next day and insured service. International orders will be priced on an individual basis, although most standard sized orders ship for £25.00 – £35.00. Please do check your country's customs charges as I am not responsible for these fees.
